My stampede sunchoke arrived in absolutely perfect condition. It was packaged in a way that we kept it from any damaged. A fine product from fine people.

I am a gardening enthusiast with a particular passion for growing figs. I noticed today that your shop offers over 100 varieties, and I would like to purchase 10 of them. Could you please confirm that these varieties are authenticβ€”meaning they truly correspond to the names listed? If so, I would like to place an order right away! Thank you.

Placed an order over 2 months ago. Never received plants. I contacted them twice via email. Received an automated, generic response and no explanation or answers to my concerns. I am hoping my cc company will help me get my money back, otherwise I will be out 400 dollars. This is either a dishonest business or they have extremely poor customer service. Either way, it was a terrible experience and will advise friends to stay away from this place.

My absolute favorite nursery of all time. We come from Monterey area to shop their incredible selection. Not only is their website a beautifully organized catalog with plentiful info about each cultivar, it’s always up to date, and makes planning and choosing the right varieties for your climate and taste a breeze. And the actual nursery location is just as well organized and tended to. The staff is always so helpful and kind if you do need assistance. I love what this place represents, does for the community, and the planet. It’s equal parts nursery and sanctuary. It’s truly inspiring and I love coming up to support what they are doing. Thank you!

Make the trip over here. If you're in the Bay area and need rare or exotic plants/trees, drive over and spend an hour looking for things. Save the shipping fees and the order backlog waiting time! Oh, and did I mention the prices significantly beat any local nursery? Trust me, liner size (4"x10") plants quickly reach 5 gallon tree size in a year. They have dozens of varieties of common fruits (pomegranates and figs were literally rows upon rows), and stock rare fruits like cherimoya (and even the red hybrid cherilata!) and loquat. Plants were dormant when I got them, but the root systems were all completely packed in the pots. Word of advice, be aggressive when separating roots; use a knife/hori hori or deep fingers to rip/pry roots apart. It's proven to be more helpful in the long run. Oh yeah and the staff are awesome. Don't be scared to ask questions!
